ABOUT ME
What To Expect
As a guitarist and tutor with over 25 years of experience, I am always ready to take on new students. Whether you are completely new to any form of music, or just feel the need to improve your overall technique, I will tailor-make a lesson plan to fit your needs.

When you contact me, one of the first things I will wish to know is the kind of music you really want to play. I will do my utmost to get you playing the songs you enjoy and want to hear.
​
For those with children who wish to learn, I have a full DBS check if required, and am a qualified Teaching Assistant. If you are willing to travel to Rothwell, I have unrestricted access to a small music studio.

GUITAR
Gutar tuition is something that should always be personalised. I will always ask the kind of music you enjoy, and tailor-make the course of study to make that a reachable goal.

Although music theory will come with time, the first few lessons will be set up to attain the knowledge to cover simple riffs and chord progressions.

UKULELE
Ukulele tuition is an ideal start to any new musician's journey. I will always try to adjust the course to match and strengthen their abilities, and will be happy to teach young and old alike.

The trickiest part of learning the uke is to keep it in tune, but once you have mastered that, the instrument can be understood with time. More songs than ever that have ukulele roots have become popular lately, and can be learnt quite quickly with the right instruction.
